Mini Make: Dog Collars & Rope Toy (Pic Heavy)

I promise I will stop spamming you with photos of Winnie & Bodger tomorrow and get back to showing you other things as well, but I made them some collars and a rope toy that I wanted to share with you as I’m quite pleased with them 🙂

Their collars were made from ribbon. I used one kind to make the main collar around their necks, and another piece to make the loop that their tags hang on. I used all purpose craft glue to stick the ribbon together. If I want to take them off the dogs, I’ll have to cut them off but thats not the end of the world as its easy to make them again. In the future I may try using a bit of elastic on them so I can take them on and off but I am pleased with these ones for now and don’t see me needing to take them off anyway. Their tags are little clock charms on a jump ring and attached to the loops on their collars. They were the only remotely suitable charms I had available and they work for now but I am going to order some bone shaped ones or something to change them for 🙂

I also made them a rope toy which is literally two small pieces of rope twisted together and tied at each end. Not the greatest thing in the world but I think it looks fairly authentic and they seem to like it 😀

Box Opening: Iplehouse Pet Doll – Boston Terrier

I had two new arrivals on Thursday from Iplehouse! Honestly, quickest delivery ever! They took just over a month from ordering to ship, they were posted on Monday and shot through UK customs quicker than ever and I was able to pay their release fee and pick them up on Thursday. So fast!

Now, as I said, there were 2 arrivals but I am going to split them into 2 separate posts as it will be too many pictures for one post. Here is Olive with the two boxes stacked on top of each other, they are almost as tall as her!

The boxes for the two dogs are exactly the same. Just brown boxes with the Iplehouse Pet Doll logo stamped on the lid. Inside, the dogs were wrapped in bubble wrap with some foam sheets around them for padding and there was a plastic bag with a leaflet about Iplehouse, instructions for stringing the dogs, and their COA’s.

So the first dog I am going to introduce you to is the Boston Terrier, who is a girl and has been named Winnie ❤ She is so adorable, my heart could explode! My first impressions are brilliant, they pose great from what I have seen so far but I need to play with them some more to see what else they can do. The detail of the paintwork etc. is just fantastic.

Here are some pictures of Winnie with Olive. I think they work really well together which is a relief as I’d got them with the intention of them being Olive’s pets. Come back tomorrow for part two of my box opening 😉
