Little Cosmos Dolls – The Little Cupboard

So who better to feature in Fashion Friday this week than the new boy of course! We are still trialing names but top of the list at the moment seems to be Angus so we’ll see.

He is a Little Cosmos Dolls “Oliver” in peach normal skin with a faceup by Little Cosmos Dolls. His wig is probably a temporary one but its a Monique wig called “Bubbles” which I purchased through Facets by Marcia.

Angus (?) is wearing MSD size jeggings from StarrshineDesigns which as you can see, are bunched up at the bottom a bit as they are a bit long for him. They still look ok though so its not a problem. His top (or should I say, Will’s top lol) is slim MSD size from icantdance and again, is a bit baggy on him but still looks cute. I like him having slightly oversized clothes as it looks like he is wearing hand-me-downs from his big brother or something ❤ His shoes are YOSD size sneakers from Alice’s Collections which fit him pretty well. They look more natural on him whereas they look a little oversized on the Littlefee. His little toys are Micro Machine’s Star Wars figures 🙂

I had a special new arrival on Wednesday! I have been wanting to order a doll from Little Cosmos Dolls for a long time now and finally after selling a bunch of random stuff on Ebay, I was able to place an order! Luckily, Sandra (who makes the dolls) had some Oliver’s still in stock so I didn’t have to wait too long for him at all! I paid extra for her to give my boy a faceup before he came home so from order time to arrival, it was around 3 weeks. Another massive plus point besides the short wait time, is that Sandra is based in Spain so there were no horrible customs charges to pay 😀

The packaging for these dolls is fantastic ❤ Rather than a typical box, they come in these big sturdy cardboard tubes which I think is just fantastic (the tube was obviously inside a normal cardboard shipper). Really simple but really effective and different from normal boxes. On the outside of the tube is a sticker featuring a gorgeous drawing of “Oliver” and the company logo etc. It also tells you that these are “Extraterrestrial Dolls looking for Parents” which is one of the things that really drew me to these dolls; I just loved the concept.

Inside the tube, “Oliver” was wrapped up in bubble wrap and then a lovely blue & white spotty cushion, tied round him with twine. A little organza bag was attached which had an extra pair of clenched hands inside. The cushion also has a fabric label with the company logo on; and a paper tag with the “Oliver” artwork on it, his skin tone, what number doll he is (mine is 7), his release date, and is also signed by Sandra. It is all just really beautiful and detailed. You can tell a lot of love went into them.

So here is “Oliver”! We haven’t decided on a name yet but have a few in mind. They are cast by Haru Casting so of course, the quality is excellent. The skin tone is really nice and I am yet to to find any seam lines etc. He’s just really smooth and lovely ❤

Oliver is double jointed and poses really well but I will show you his capabilities properly in a seperate post soon. The faceup Sandra gave him is perfect and exactly what I asked for; a nice, sweet, gentle little boy. His ears and mouth are the cutest ❤ Anyway, I will share more pics of him soon, including some comparison photos with some of my others dolls but for now I hope you will enjoy the pics of him below (apologies for the nudity hehe) 🙂
