I often like to have a little peruse on the online Kawaii shop, Blippo. I have bought little key-rings and things from them before to use as props for the dolls so I like to check the site out from time to time to see whats new. I had a small order arrive from them today so I thought I’d take some pictures to show you what I got. Here is Tabby below with everything that came 🙂 Excuse the quality of the picture, I took it on my phone (the one I took on my camera came out blurry and I didn’t have the energy to set it all back up and take it again )
The Christmas Card was a free gift, I am not that organised! Haha! Blippo usually always send a leaflet with a money off code for your next order too which is always good 😉
The first things I ordered were these kits for making sweets. I’ve wanted to try them for a long time as they make doll sized treats so I can’t wait to try them out. The instructions are in Japanese but I’ve seen English ones online and there are also videos on YouTube showing you how to do them. They were on offer when I bought them too so that was good 🙂 I got a set that makes a takeout Pizza meal, and a set that makes donuts. I’ve heard they taste pretty horrible to eat but I’ve got them to make to use as doll props so that’s not a problem for me lol. I’ll be sure to share my experience here when I make them anyway 😉
Next up are a little wipe-able Froggy memo board and a Secret Pen set. The memo board is meant to be for you to keep on your desk and its supposed to stand up but the stand on the back was rubbish so it wouldn’t do that. Also, the pen was completely dried up so its no use at all.
I’d ordered the memo board with the intention of using it on the wall in a room diorama I am making for the dolls but I’m not sure if it will be a little bit too big. We’ll see though, it might work out. I have other wipe able pens too so its not a huge issue that the pen wasn’t working but if someone ordered it with the intention to use it as a desk memo board, I think they would be disappointed.
The magic pen set I actually only ordered because I wanted the little clear box to use on a desk for the dolls for keeping their stationary bits and things in but now its arrived, its so much cooler than I expected haha! The pen is one of those ones that writes clear, and it has a special light on the end of it that you shine onto what you’ve written to reveal it. Very cool! So I may get some fun out of the pen too 😀
My favourite part of the order was this adorable Peas in a Pod plush key chain! I adore Toy Story so as soon as I saw this, I knew the dolls and I NEEDED it 😀 The peas all come out too. Love it!!
These little eggs are actually highlighters but I got them to use as toys for Connie as they reminded me so much of the Tomy Hide & Squeak Eggs that I had when I was a baby and that my niece and nephew had when they were babies etc. They even wobble a bit like Weebles and spring back up if you knock them down XD
These little greetings cards with envelopes were just too cute to resist. They would suit right up to SD sized dolls too I believe. There were 8 in the set with a range of greetings on such as birthday, thank you, love etc. One of them I have no idea what it says but its still cute 😀
Finally, I ordered some food keychains as I have done in the past as they are always a great size for the dolls and fairly realistic looking too. We got popcorn, 2 kinds of pancakes and some snow ice 🙂 I’ll remove the chains later but as you can see, Tabby and Connie are getting stuck in already XD
